Sealant Will Repair a Refrigerator Gasket

"After a few years, the sealing gasket around the inside edge of a refrigerator or freezer sometimes cracks, causing the machine to run longer to maintain the proper temperature."

If you have a look on your face that says "Excuse me?" you are not alone.

I'm not sure what they were talking about so I had to hit up Google.

The refrigerator sealing gasket is the flexible strip attached to the outer edge of the freezer or refrigerator compartment.

This seal helps maintain the temperature of the unit.

Today's refrigerators still have similar features. So you might want to check and see how well your parts are holding up in your kitchen appliances.

You will need to look up sealing products that are safe for the materials your refrigerator is made of.

In a household full of people, especially children, there is constant wear and tear on our appliances.

So make sure to check up on any defects your items might have so you can repair or replace anything that isn't working properly.

Try Putting Up Wallboard? Why Not? "In the spring one tends to think about the sprucing up the home." In the 70's wood paneling was all the rage. Wallboard or as it commonly called today - Decorative Paneling. There are some seriously cute panelings out there today. Typically, when you think of wall paneling, you think of wooden paneling. I have some in my living room and it is very dated. It's so dark that is great for movie nights but mostly it just feels like a room that is sucking the light from your house. I found an article from Houzz that has some modern looks for us in the year 2018. So if you decide to go the way of decorative paneling, please steer clear of the basic stuff, and go for a nice chic modern look!
